In a recent interview with ShD with Terry Stephens, General Manager CESAB Material handling UK, explained why he is committed to IMHX.
ShD: What compelled Cesab to exhibit at IMHX 2013?
Terry Stephens: IMHX is the premier materials handling event and as such is a key part of CESAB Material Handling’s marketing plans for 2013. This will be the inaugural show for CESAB and we are looking forward to developing our relationships with key industry decision makers, demonstrating our full European manufactured product range and introducing some of the faces from our independent UK dealer network.
ShD: What messages do you hope to get across to visitors?
Terry Stephens: We will be showcasing our high quality TPS* manufactured range, which meets the majority of counterbalanced and warehouse material handling requirements across the UK market. We will be reinforcing the benefits to customers of having a local, personal dealer contact who ensures customers get the highest levels of service and back up at all times. As an industry leader in mast design, we will also be showing customers how our Intelligent Mast Design (IMD) concept ensures the highest levels of visibility and productivity.

ShD: How important is the UK to Cesab’s plans, and where does IMHX fit into your plans?
Terry Stephens: The UK is fundamental to CESAB’s plans in Europe. It is a mature market where customers understand the benefits of forklift products manufactured through high quality processes and make their buying decisions in a logical and thought through way. We believe that IMHX will attract key decision makers who will use the exhibition in 2013 as part of their information gathering process.
CESAB Material Handling UK has a head office based in Wellingborough and has been actively recruiting and developing its independent dealer network in recent years, to ensure we have the strongest possible footing to move forward from. We believe that IMHX provides a window on our business proposition for both customers and dealers alike.
